At the push of a button you can generate up to 1,000,000 virtual users from inside your network to concentrate on server performance by itself, or use the cloud to test the entire application stack, including the firewall and load balancer. Note: cloud load generation from Amazon EC2 is a nominal extra charge.

Load Tester LITE™ will both estimate the amount of bandwidth required based on actual recordings of your site, and then put that to the test by generating enough load to saturate the network.

What does "practically free" mean? If you use your own computers and bandwidth to generate load, then Load Tester LITE™ is provided at no cost.
Generating load from the cloud is a $1/hour/server, and you'll need to sign up for an Amazon cloud account.
How to Get Started
- Download and run the installer.
- Signup for a Web Performance account and use it to generate a LITE license.
- If you want to generate load from the cloud you'll need to sign up for an Amazon cloud account.
