Web Performance Tester makes this easy by adding verify steps directly from the browser while recording the testcase. The <em>Verify<\/em> option in the browsers pop-up menu provides a list of the most common verifications:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webperformance.com\/load-testing-tools\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/VerifySuggestionExample.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5035\" src=\"https:\/\/www.webperformance.com\/load-testing-tools\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/VerifySuggestionExample.png\" alt=\"Verify Suggestion Example\" width=\"500\" height=\"273\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition to verifying the page title and URL, there are three categories of verifications supported:<\/p>\n<p>For any element, you can verify:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>text of the element<\/li>\n<li>element exists<\/li>\n<li>element is visible<\/li>\n<li>element is clickable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For any field (text input, button, checkbox, etc) you can verify:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>field value<\/li>\n<li>field is (or not) selected<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By selecting text on the page, you can verify the selected text:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>appears on the page<\/li>\n<li>is contained in the text of that element<\/li>\n<li>equals the text of that element<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Creating verify steps during recording will be included in the 6.4 release.
